We are here to stay.
For the past several years we have seen a number of proposals made by various landlords for the 'Laindon Regeneration'.
For the best part it was all 'hot air' and understandably we all became sceptical that this was actually going to happen.
With Swan and its associates things are now moving. Understandably it has been a little slower paced but there have been, and I suspect will continue to be, hurdles to overcome. However Swan seem to have a handle on the situation and we wish them all the best as Laindon deserves a decent shopping area to serve its local community and also to serve the surrounding areas as well.
We would like to reassure all of our patients - old and new - that Templeman Opticians Laindon is here to stay. We have served the community for over 25 years and we intend to continue for many, many more years to come. However, to do this we depend on your continued support and recommendations to your friends and family.
We have now signed with Swan to stay at the centre in a modern, temporary unit whilst work commences on the first phase of the development. We are expecting to move in mid-March with all of our equipment and some updated equipment as well!
Our frame selection will not be compromised so we will be offering our wide selection of eyewear as usual. All our eyecare services will be provided as usual so there will be no changes there, in fact we hope to extend our range of services very soon.
